Upgrade

Upgrading works just like the installation. However, in some major versions or when upgrading Shopware versions, there are some things that should be taken into consideration to avoid issues during the upgrade.

General Upgrade Process

Upgrading works just like installing, where you can usually upload the file, and then click update in the admin.

Alternatively, you can also install the update via command line input.

If you notice that it doesn't say "update" as usual after uploading the file, you have to install the update via server console.

Command Line Update Process

If you choose to install the file via command line, there is a different CLI you need to run after uploading it via Shopware admin compared to when you first installed B2Bsellers Suite onto your Shopware installation.

Navigate to the shop's root directory, then enter the following comand:

bin/console plugin:update b2bsellerscore

This will install the plugin update.

From 3.1.6 onwards, it is currently required to update via this method.

Important note regarding updating B2Bsellers Suite to version 3.2.2 - If your shop is using Shopware 6.6.9 or newer, a technical restriction prevents updating the plugin via Shopware Administration. If you plan on upgrading via .zip file, you will need to update using the console.

Please make sure to read the section on bottom and do a two step upgrade, to 2.0.x first, then to 2.1.0, and then to the version you intend to install.

Upgrading from 1.x to 2.x

When going straight from 1.x to the latest 2.x version, you need to do a two step upgrade due to table prefix changes. We recommend going to 2.0.x first, and then to 2.1.
